Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and his staff are busy evaluating talent for the NFL Draft. The focus: find some impact dudes, who can elevate Coach Smith's football team. I believe that process starts on the LOS. But there are some other areas that Dimitroff may go early in the draft, if they see a great fit (TE, L. 
    DT would be the Falcons top need and there are a couple of guys to be taken seriously with that 1st round pick. Go ahead and cross Bama's Terrence Cody off the list here. But take a close look at Boston College's B.J. Raji. He's got that big body the Falcons are in need of and the man is a terror. Think of Grady Jackson with a motor. Ole Miss DT Peria Jerry is another prospect that Dimitroff will be taking a close look at too.  
    OL is the other top need. Got to protect that Franchise QB. Looks like OTs will fly off the board early in the 1st round. Andre Smith and  Michael Oher appear to be Top 10 guys. here are some names that could be available later in the 1st round for the Falcons:
Cal center Alex Mack (top interior OL in draft?) and Ohio State OT Alex Boone, 
    TE is a need position too. Missu's Chase Coffman looks like a real good fit. Matt Ryan would love to have this guy working the middle of the field in the passing game. He should be available around pick #25.
    USC safety Taylor Mays and Florida's Brandon Spikes are freaks that might fall to later in round #1. Got to believe Dimitroff would look to add a playmaker at OLB & safety too. 
    So, there are 7 guys to research and start to break down. The new Falcons have got to improve and this group has some interesting pieces.
