Where Beanie Wells & Moreno Might Go

Beanie and Knowshon are 1st round picks. That's a no-brainer. But where might they end up? Interesting question. Let's examine.
Last year, there were 5 RBs taken in the 1st round. Raiders jumped on Darren McFadden in the Top 5. The Panthers selected Jonathan Stewart 13. Then, the run was on: Dallas grabbed Felix Jones at 22, Steelers got Rashard Mendenhall at 23, and the Titans took Chris Johnson at 24.
Looks to me like there are 7-8 teams needing a quality RB right now. Seattle at #4. Cleveland at #5. Cincinnati at #6. Denver at 12. The Chargers may or may not be in the mix at #16. The Jets could use some fresh legs at 17. The Eagles have picks #21 & #28. The Cardinals at 31 will be examining RBs, with Ed James heading out of town.
If you are drafting in the Top 10, obviously you've got multiple needs. Seahawks need a cover corner like Malcom Jenkins, a receiver like Crabtree, and a RB like Wells or Moreno. Doubt Tim Ruskell goes RB here.
Cleveland looks like a good fit for Chris Wells, if he rises up the draft board between the combine and the draft. Browns need a banger at RB. Jamal Lewis is 30 and not much tread is left on the tires. Wells is a local legend and that will factor into this selection. Chris played high school ball in Akron, just 37 miles south of Cleveland. And all the Brown fans know about his impact at Ohio State. Mangini is the new head coach and the new GM is George Kokinis (out of the Ravens org). They will think long and hard about taking Wells at #5. They already have a stud OT, a young QB, and a talented WR.
Denver is desperate for a quality RB. Last season, they played a dude that they found working in a local mall. New coach Josh McDaniels knows that won't work. Got to go get a horse. Moreno would be a nice fit. He's a 3-down back. Competitive. Can catch the pigskin. If the Broncos pass, Moreno could end up in a Chargers uniform. Can't imagine Knowshon falling below that San Diego pick at #16. Maybe a below average 40 time could send him back to the Eagles in the 20's.
The only knock on Knowshon is his speed. But this isn't the 100M. It's football. It's all about those 10-20 yard runs.
The critics slam Wells about his durability, but I laugh at that one. Football's a tough spot. RBs are going to get hit and hurt. The best I can tell, Wells is the only 6'1" 240 lb back busting off 65 yard TD gallops. Is he tough? Well, yeah! Dude averaged 21 carries a game in the Big 10 (soph & jr seasons). Remember that 39 carry, 222 performance against rival Michigan? No sissy is going to put up those numbers. Pass on this guy and you might regret it.
