Braves Struggling
The Braves look like they are struggling to keep their heads above water. They are drowning in mediocrity. And this is tough to watch. It's like Groundhog Day...the same losing scenario day after day.
For Fran Wren and Bobby Cox, the hope is that when McCann and Garrett Anderson get back in the line-up, and off the DL, this line-up will start scoring enough runs to win. Brian will get back in there and start swinging the bat. He's got that burning desire to get the job done. G.A.? I wonder. Dude looks soft as a marshmellow and content with the end of his career. He's an outsider brought in to bridge the gap. And that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Bad investment.
The plan for now is to get McCann and G.A. back in the line-up and see where that goes, but this is looking like a repeat of the last 3 seasons. Don't know if I can stand to watch it unfold again.
I'm already looking forward to 2010-2011, when Heyward, Freeman and Hanson will be up here. Even if they lose, at least they are building for the future. Not sure what you call this.
