Finally A Good Round!

Tee'd it up at one of my favorite Atlanta tracks this morning, Bears Best in Suwanee. Just love the fore caddy program! Getting critical yardages and an expert read on putts sets this experience apart. The Best of Nicklaus design is fun too. It was playig firm and fast today, from the Blue's.
I'm still locked into this trend of hitting it pure on the range (Especially with the Driver) and losing that on the way to the 1st tee box. Hit it way left. Then, hit it right off the 2nd tee. Double bogey, bogey start. My spirits were crushed. A par at 3 cooled the negative vibe. The front side was a struggle...+6 42. The stuff bad drives and lipped out putts are made of.
Different story on the back nine. Got it going. Started hitting some fairways. And I've got a lot of confidence in my new Callaway irons. Got'm dialed in. The putter woke up and came alive down the stretch. Birdied 15, 17 & 18 from 12-15 feet. Man, that was fun. The ball was disappearing into the cup! Birdied 3 of the last 4 holes for a 77. I'm encouraged, but a little freaked out about not being able to take the driver from the range to the 1st tee box.
