While You're Hating on the Defense
Are all you Joe Cox doubters know believing in the young man? I told you weeks ago to start embracing this guy. He was our leader. A Coach on the field. A QB that could throw it around and be accurate. His performance at Arkansas showed off all those traits. Joe's a winner and always has been.
So, while you're hating on Coach Martinez and the Georgia defense, please lay off the Cox criticism...that would make you look silly. What's not to like about the Georgia QB? He's serious about one thing: winning. He loves the Bulldogs. And he's now officially in the Georgia record books, with those 5 TD tosses.
The guy made clutch throw after cluch throw against Arkansas. Short, intermediate and deep. Should have had a record breaking 6th TD, if it weren't for a drop by Tav King on another go route. Cox was awesome.
There was this section of the Bulldog fan base that had turned their back on Joe, even before he could prove what he was all about. These fans were acting as if Richt and Bobo didn't know what they were doing. Take note. Cox is the man in 2009. Logan Gray, Murray and Mettenberger are set to do battle for that coveted #1 job this spring. Until then, Joe is our guy. I'm proud of him. I'm glad he's our QB.
