LSU BETTER THAN DOGS RIGHT NOW

The 'Dogs took the 4th best team in college football down to the final couple of plays. Nothing to be ashamed about. Georgia even had a shot to win. But LSU took it. In some respects, Georgia sort of gave it away. And man, that stings. The opportunity was there to beat a Top 5 team and it slipped away.
The celebration penalties are just insane. It's a lousy rule. Guys in suits have stained this great game. Neither team deserved to get hit. Looked like two offenses rejoicing big TDs. They didn't show anyone up. Yet the knucklehead official threw the flag. And impacted the game. I'm offended. The rule is bad and the officials interpretation of the rule was bad. Period.
Obviously, the games biggest play was Charles Scott galloping through Marcus Dowtin 33 yards for a touchdown. That was the game-winner. Curran and Evans got blocked on the play. Dowtin got run over. Get that big Senior RB on the ground, and the pressure is on the LSU kicker to deliver. Jefferson's 26 yard scramble got them in scoring position. Another huge play was what jump-started their game-winning drive: 3/10 backed up on the 22, the 'Dogs got pressure on Jefferson but he delivered a big-time throw to freshman receiver Rueben Randle for 16 yards. Huge play. The kid delivered.
Joe Cox delivered big on the next Georgia po. Georgia went 6-plays, 79 yards to take the lead 13-12. Joe was 3-4 on the drive with a drop (Caleb). Tavarres King came up big on a 3/6 and gained 46. Two plays later, Cox gave A.J. an opp to make the big-play and he did...Cox to Green for 16 yards and a touchdown. Hawkins was on him, but got out-jumped.
But this is where things went awfully wrong.
A bogus excessive celebration penalty sent the kick-off back to the 20. Then, little Trindon Holiday returned the kick 40 yards to the Georgia 43. TERRIBLE KICK-OFF COVERAGE. And then, after Scott ran thru Dowtin...the Tigers get hit with that lame celebration penalty and kick-off from the 20. 'Dogs are about to get great field position, right? TERRIBLE KICK-OFF RETURN BLOCKING. LSU COVER MAN SPRINTS RIGHT THRU UNTOUCHED TO BRANDEN SMITH...he's tackled after just 10 yards.
The next two plays, BEN JONES GIVES JOE COX 2 BAD SNAPS. Cox has no shot to make a play.
    GAME OVER.
What got Georgia beat were the two special teams plays. Costly. And that big throw by Jefferson under heavy pressure on 3rd down & 10, with the game hanging in the balance.
And Joe's overthrow on A.J. on the 2nd po of the game was huge. Hit that open post and it goes for a Sanford Stadium record 95 yards...and the stadium explodes. After that, LSU's defense stoned us the rest of the half.
