Attacking Vanderbilt

This is a match-up Georgia's OL can win. That will allow Bobo to get back to pounding it some on 1st down. It'll interesting to see how the carries are distributed among the RBs. Samuel starts and gets 4-5 carries. Ealey comes in and totes it some. Caleb King might even get back in there. But in this match-up, I like Carlton Thomas being featured. He's too quick for the Vanderbilt LBs. Got to get him 6-8 touches out in space...screens and check down, underneath routes out of the RB spot. Some big plays early would be a nice jumpstart.
With Tavarres King back this week, the 3 WR package will be back. Tavarres is coming on fast. Got to go to him some, if they over-play A.J. Green. Moore gives them 3 solid options. Attack with this set. The 3-WR, 1-RB shotgun set looks like this offenses most effective formation group. Green and King can attack'm deep, while Moore works the middle of the field.
Against Tennessee, the 'Dogs struggled to convert on 3rd down, and Bobo tried a little of everything...Quick screens, FB screen, Logan Gray in the Wildcat running the zone read, some downfield throws. They went 1-7 in 3rd and short to medium situations. The first situation was a 3rd and 1...a run play got stuffed. The next was a 3rd and 3...Vance doesn't execute his block and Cox had the pass tipped by the DL for an INTC. Not the way you want to start the game.
Georgia needs a fast start against Vanderbilt. Bet Bobo takes some shots early.
