Herschel Still the Greatest!

You may have heard the "Tebow is about to break Herschel's SEC record for rushing touchdowns" news. Entering the Georgia-Florida game Saturday these two great competitors are all tied up. But are they? The record book says Tebow has 48 rushing TDs and Herschel has 48 rushing touchdowns. But that's not really accurate.
The NCAA has this lame rule in place now that bowl game individual statistics count. When Herschel played, bowl game stats did not count. How bad is that? Claude Felton would gladly add those 5 TDs Herschel scored in 3 bowl games to his tally to make the career number 53. But the NCAA chooses to drop the ball on this one. Stupid rule. These people are real knuckleheads. It really is cheating a guy, when it comes to situations like this.
The way Tebow and the Gators offense are struggling to score TDs right now, that 53 number might hold up.
I'm choosing to not recognize Tebow's new record until he passes 53.
And let me remind you the damage Herschel Walker did to the Florida Gators. Check out these numbers in 3 games: 649 yards and 8 TDs, averaged 5.6 yards per carry, 36 1st down runs, and 17 runs over 10 yards. He chewed them up and spit'm out. He averaged 39 carries and 216 yards.
