'Dogs Could Go Undefeated?

The Bulldogs could run the table and go 12-0. Take out Florida along the way to the SEC Championship game. And then, beat Alabama and win the SEC. That would obviously advance them to the BCS National Title game.
That could happen. But they could also finish 10-2 and end up in Florida over the New Years. And that's what I see, when I examine the Georgia schedule. I expect the 'Dogs to finish up strong. With Idaho State coming in on November 6th, Richt basically has 2 weeks to prepare for a trip to Auburn. And there is an off week prior to Georgia Tech. That really helps the Bulldogs.
The swing games are up top. Big one at South Carolina. High-powered Arkansas is Between the Hedges week 3. Win those and they should be heading to Jacksonville 8-0. And the Fightin' Gators might be ripe for the takin' this October.
An undefeated season is asking too much probably. But a shot at cocky Alabama would be a nice reward for taking the East. And a loss or two might still get you that opportunity. Push me into a corner and I'll say the 'Dogs lose a close one in Columbia, and drop that one in Auburn. Life is tough on the road in the SEC. Seems like you're already down 10-0 when you get off the bus.
Coming into the '80 season, we were ranked #17. Beat Tennessee in the opener and the dream season was underway. Win and move on to the next week. Take the challenges one game at a time. Never know where that might lead you.
