The Challenge: Win On The Road

The Bulldogs have to be motivated by their 0-3 road record. Rally around this! That's the motivation this week. Win on the road. Remember when that Richt "Opponent's Home Stadium" trend was so popular? Believe that stands at 33-9 right now, but the last 3 road games have been losses. Surely this team is fired up about ending that.
I broke down the game in the scouting report. Click on that for a complete breakdown. But here is the quick version.
Bobo's offense needs to be balanced. Kentucky can't handle that. Against the run, they need that extra guy in the box. Against the pass, they need an extra DB to play coverage. This is a bad match-up for them, IF EALEY PERFORMS. IF EALEY SHOWS UP...that would give Green & Durham an opportunity to take advantage of thier mismatches (Cat CBs little) and we score plenty.
Grantham's defense faces a big challenge. Kentucky's offense features multiple playmakers and the SR QB can read coverage and zing it. The scheme features Randall Cobb, who is one of the top players in CF. Cobb is the man, but that allows 6'5, 230 lb WR Chris Matthews to get 1-on-1 opportunities. There is good news: Cats OL is ordinary. The key: QBPs on Hartline, who is a pocket passer. Turn Houston loose on him.
And come home with a win.
