'Dogs DC More Like Erk or Ramsey?

The jury is still out on Todd Grantham obviously. The transition is ongoing. The signs point to a better understanding of assignments within the new 3-4 scheme. However, the personnel is not yet in place. The grade at this point would have to be "incomplete."
Spoke to a couple of Georgia confidants recently and they had completely different takes on the Bulldogs new DC. One was convinced that Grantham was a genius. There was a reference made to the great Erk Russell. The other brought up the name Kevin Ramsey. Ouch. He was the guy that Donnan hired and fired in the same year.
I was totally caught off guard by these two opinions. Man, that's a mighty wide range. And how could two people so close to the situation have such differing views? Not sure what to think about that.
What is my first impression? Grantham sure got a big contract (Erk should have gotten this kind of money). He looks intense and tough, but he sure stares at that laminated play sheet a lot. I'm sort of in the middle right now. Unsure. It looks like the guys are playing hard under his guidance. I like how we are playing more aggressively. And I'm hoping for the best against Kentucky, Florida, Auburn and Tech. I'll withhold judgement, until those games are played.
Bet he's glad to be out of that mess in Dallas. This is not time to be with the Cowboys. He jumped ship just in time.
Tried to get him on the Buck & Kincade Show this season, but he only wants to do morning interviews. Oh well, go get'm coach.
