So Proud Of Aaron Murray

Should have come with this first, instead of talking about that beast Nick Fairley, but I am so proud of Aaron Murray. He played an outstanding game, in a very tough enviroment. He knew coming in that the plan was to be aggressive offensively. Aaron knew he had to be sharp. Read the stat sheet: 15-28-273, with 3 TDs. Those early throws to A.J. Green were on the money. Nice throws.
But I'm most proud of the toughness Aaron showed in this one. He stood in there and took some serious shots from Nick Fairley and the Auburn defense. And he never backed down. Even when he took that shot to the knee late, he wanted back in. Teammates respect toughness. Fans should too. Aaron Murray is one tough dude. A fighter. A real competitor.
It's been an oustanding start to his Georgia career. Murray's season numbers are impressive, especially for a 1st year starter: 60%, with 21 TD and 6 picks. Be you a junior, senior or a redshirt freshman, those numbers are impressive. Good enough to be rated  #4 in the SEC.
It's  been a disappointing season. No getting around that. But we've found us a winning quarterback.
