Like Richt's "Dream Team" Approach

I'm buying in to Coach Richt's "Dream Team" theme with this recruiting class. It might be gimmicky, but it's fun to the recruit. It's something they can relate to. The message is quite simple: We are focused on keeping the top players in Georgia at home playing for the Bulldogs. And the "Dream Team" also includes some top-rated players from surrounding areas.
It's hip. It's fun. It grabs the kids attention. Richt has also updated that message to include another attention-grabber: Come to Georgia, and in your 1st game help us beat Boise State on the national stage, in the Georgia Dome. Then, he plays the Georgia fight song on his Droid.
Sounds like Jay Rome likes the message. Isaiah Crowell is listening. Ray Drew is interested. Sure hope Xzavier Dickson and Damian Swann buy in. Guess Grantham never got to A.J. Johnson or James Vaughters, top-rated LBs who are headed elsewhere it looks like. I say knock on their door again.
These are critical times for Coach Richt and his staff. This class has got to include multiple impact players, including hits on the JUCO scene. And we are bumping heads with Alabama everywhere we go. Saban was in South Carolina visiting DT Philip Dukes earlier this week. 'Dogs need him too. Sounds like we took a step back recruiting the Palmetto State, when Richt cut John Fabris loose.
