Impact On Meyer Leaving Gators

Coach Richt and Jimbo Fisher should jump on some of these Florida commitments quick, while Jeremy Foley is out there trying to find a suitable replacement for the Gator Nation. Chip Towers pointed out yesterday that the 'Dogs where already selling Brooksville, Florida WR JuJuan Story, who VC to the Gators.
On clue on who Foley might lure in as the Gators next coach surrounds this idea that Meyer will keep an office on the Florida campus and he wants to be in on the decision on who replaces him. That leads me to believe the top 2 guys are Dan Mullen and Kyle Whittingham. And they appear to be the best fit. With those two, things would stay much the same, especially on offense.
Gruden is a long-shot. He would change the spread offense to a pro-style attack. Everyone other than Brantley would probably roll their eyes on that.
Saban and Alabama are breathing down Richt's neck on the recruiting trail here in Georgia. Bet he's going to grab a couple of those Super 11 guys. That's another reason to hit the state of Florida hard right now. Try to off-set the damage Kirby Smart and Bama will do to this Dream Team concept.
Some of the Georgia Super 11 players were being recruited by the Gators; Valdosta's Jay Rome, Damian Swann, and Ray Drew. So, Meyer's departure helps Richt position himself to get these guys. Another guy caught in the crossfire is Valdosta WR/DB Malcolm Mitchell, who had the Gators on his list. Mitchell plans to visit Georgia this weekend.
The 'Dogs need to line up some WR prospects. Got to find some playmakers, with A.J. checking out. Mitchell is in that catagory. Aaron Murray will be winging it around for 3 more seasons, so that should be a selling point to guys like Mitchell and Story.
