My 3-Step Plan For Richt's Bulldogs
I'll reveal my 3-Step Plan for a Bulldogs turnaround over the next few days. Like it or not, Richt has another year to get the program back on track, but he's even admitted there have to be some changes made. What will they be? Only Coach Richt and Greg McGarity know the answer to that question. The first move has already been made, with new leadership in the Strength & Conditioning program. Van Halanger out and Tereshinski in. Mat drills out and power lifting back in. Got to improve on the LOS and in the 4th quarter.
More changes are on the way.
Obviously, I've got some thoughts on what moves need to be made. Call it an educated opinion. Step #1 would shock the system over there, but I believe that's exactly what needs to be done. Change the culture, without changing the head coach. A message needs to be sent from the top. This would do that.
Step #2 is about temporary change in philosophy. And Step #3 is personnel based.
McGarity is giving Richt another season to get this turned around. Time for some bold moves. Join me for the 3-Step Plan over the next few days, on 680's Buck & KIncade Show and here on buckbelue.com.
