Aaron Murray is OK
Not good news. This is not what the 2011 Georgia Bulldogs had in mind. Quarterback Aaron Murray reportedly has injured his ankle over the weekend playing soccer with the guys. He was scene on crutches in Athens earlier today. The injury is being examined this afternoon.
Just had one of my sources check back (4:45 pm Monday) and tell me Aaron "is fine." What a relief. You always consider the worst, when these things come down. It's just an ankle sprain. Nothing is broken.
Spring football practice starts in 17 days, on March 10th. G-Day goes down in 8 weeks, on April 16th. If Murray's ankle was broken, he misses spring ball. Obviously, Aaron needs to be out there establishing some chemistry with Tav King and Marlon Brown. The 'Dogs need their QB out there leading the way.
