Encouraging Display at G-Day

I left encouraged. The 'Dogs appear to have a few impact players to plug in this season. Dudes that can "Hunker Down" and be difference-makers.
Kwame Geathers was a beast. He was the most impressive guy on the field. Alabama had Cody a few years back. Last season, Auburn had Nick Fairley dominating up front. This year, it looks like Geathers could be the big story. Seriously, man. Kwame was at times unblockable, at 6'6" and 350 pounds. This young man has worked his tail off to get stronger and more fit. And that's paid off. John Jenkins was some competition at nose. Or put Kwame, Jenkins and DeAngelo Tyson on the D-Line at the same time...now that sounds impressive.
Alec Ogletree looks like a star in the making at ILB. Dude was all over the field. Chasing down RBs. Covering receivers. The kid is playing at 224 right now...put another 10 pounds on him and this guy is ready to make a huge impact. There will be no ILB as fast as Alec in CF. No ILB has the cover skills he has. Ogletree was impressive.
Jarvis Jones made some plays. That was the first time I'd had a chance to really see him fly around. Athletic. Can rush. Can cover. Can chase. Look for him to make a big impact.
On offense, Aaron Murray was sharp. Orson Charles looks good. That combination will shine this season. Orson is a mismatch inside on LBs and safeties. And he runs away from them on those crossing routes. Tavarres King will make a lot of plays. Last year, Aaron had A.J. and Kris Durham. This year, Murray has Orson and Tav to go-to. And Marlon Brown is improved and appears ready to play.
I really liked RB Ken Malcome. Tough runner inside the tackles. Can run through'm. That's a skill set we've been missing. If he can stay healthy, Malcome has a shot to get some carries.
Hutson Mason gives this team a quality back-up to Murray. LeMay has a nice skill set too.
Cordy Glenn looked strong at left tackle. Dude is big as a house and can move. I look at him work and think 1st round pick.
These were my impressions at G-Day. Liked what I saw. Encouraged about bouncing back big.
