Post-Spring Glance at Dogs Offense

Aaron Murray is excited about taking the field against Boise State with this offense. And look for an improved Murray too. The 2nd season as the starter allows good QBs to anticipate, instead of reacting... and that's how the game slows down. The 2nd time around also allows a young QB to step up in a leadership role, which Aaron has embraced.
The O-Line is going to have some huge bodies...Cordy Glenn is 6'5" 348, Kenarious Gates is 6'5 328, A.J. Harmon is 6'5 345, and Justin Anderson is 6'5 342. Ben Jones leads at the center spot. The top back-ups appear to be puppies Kolton Houston, Chris Burnette, and Brent Benedict.  They hope Austin Long can help this fall too.
The size of the O-Line should allow the 'Dogs to get the running game going. Get those 340 lb. guys moving forward and knocking the DL off the ball some. Then, play-action off the run. I don't believe Coach Bobo and Coach Friend want to drop-back and throw it 40 times a game.
Cordy Glenn looks like an All-SEC OT and a 1st round pick in the 2012 draft. He plays physical.
Figgins at fullback gives this offense another big body to run block and help protect Murray in the pocket. Bruce can also catch that flat route, where he can use that 272 lb. frame to turn up-field and run over undersized CBs.
How do they fill the void left by A.J. Green? I believe Orson Charles will have a big season (50 catches) and Tavarres King will be a playmaker. Tavarres can go get it. It'll be these two guys leading the way. Marlon is a solid 3rd option. And more playmakers are needed (Isaiah Crowell, Malcolm Mitchell, Rantavious Wooten, Branden Smith).
At RB, Ken Malcome was really impressive in the G-Day scrimmage. He's 230 lbs. in full pads and can run through tackles. That's a skill set that fits nicely with this year's offense. But look for this to be another "RB by Committee" season. Expect to see more of Caleb King and Washaun Ealey. Isaiah Crowell looks to me like a skilled receiver and a back that needs it in open space. Not sure he's ready to bang it inbetween the tackles 20+ times a game.
Concerns? A.J. Harmon has to come through at right tackle. Flip a coin on that right now. The guard opposite of Gates is unsettled. There appears to be a big drop-off at WR, after Tavarres King and Marlon Brown.
