Malcolm Mitchell Opportunity to Play?

The kid from Valdosta is a playmaker. He's probably a little under the radar with most Georgia fans, but not to those who've watched him perform on a weekly basis. Malcolm Mitchell makes plays, on offense, defense and on special teams. And he's a mature, committed young man.
Malcolm is right behind Crowell & Drew, as far as the list of "Dream Team" freshmen who can make an immediate impact.
The plan is to put him at WR, where there is an opportunity to earn some playing time, as a back-up. He's also capable of returning kicks right now. Initial reports tell me he's holding his own running routes against Branden Smith and Brandon Boykin.
Last year in Valdosta, Malcolm set a new single season reception record (77 catches for 1,419 yards. That's18.4 per catch. He was busy making plays at CB in his junior season. He was only playing basketball, as a freshman and soph.
Valdosta High's greatest WR, Stan Rome recently described Malcolm's skill set: Athletic and competitive. Goes up and gets the high ball. Strong hands. Quick and elusive, after the catch. Good seperation speed. Tough to overthrow. Wants the ball in close games. Team guy. Fit.
Keep an eye on Mitchell. He could get his hands on the ball some this season.
