It was fun to be back on campus today. The pace was slower than normal in Athens. Sort of the quiet before the storm. But it was nice. Got to tour the new facility again. It's impressive, although work continues on the Butts-Mehre Building. On the way out of town, I hit the Tate Center bookstore and dropped 2 bills on new Bulldog gear for the kids. Last year's stuff is too small now. Anyway, talked a lot of Georgia football.
   Ben Jones is confident the O-Line is in good hands. Told me they were too tough to get hurt. So, 5 guys might be enough. Seriously, Austin Long missing early practices is a concern. Right now, I'm wondering if he'll get back on the field. It's been one thing, after another. Ben is sold on "Bean" Anderson and Chris Burnette. Sure hope they stay healthy.
   LB Christian Robinson is an impressive guy. Christian is a solid 6'3" 230 and he'll be the voice on defense. He and Alec Ogletree should be an outstanding tandem inside. Jarvis Jones situation is a concern, right now. Better get Chase Vasser ready to go.
   Brandon Boykin is the real deal. The bet here says he will have a big season, with increased pressure on opposing QBs expected. This guy is a playmaker. Dangerous on returns. Might get some touches on offense too. Boykin is an All-SEC guy.
   Got to speak with Aaron Murray. He's ready to go. Committed. Fit. Confident. Approachable. Smart. And he's got some weapons. Orson. TK. Malcom Mitchell looks good.
   Boise State started practice today too. This should be exciting.
   Couple of keys for the Bulldogs. On offense, must protect the ball in the first two games. On defense, got to Hunker Down up front.
