Crowell Off To Quick Start

Bulldogs got through Practice #5 today, with pads on. Good news: only injury was an ankle sprain. And it was hot. Folks, this is "Summer Camp", not "Fall Camp."
Isaiah Crowell is making some noise. He's quick and elusive. Hard to hit. And he can make'm miss out in open space. You can tell his new teammates are excited about his skill set. It's so important that he stay on the field and not get dinged up during camp. He needs reps. Got to figure Bobo is penciling in about 10-15 touches for against Boise. And if he gets it going, that number could go up.
So far the O-Line is holding up. And again, Figgins and Samuel should be a big help in helping protect Murray this season...get the TE's out in the route and block the RB & FB.
Good to hear that some of the young CBs are stepping up. Freshman Damian Swann has been impressive. Probably good Boykin has been resting a hamstring, so these other CBs can get a look. With the D-Line so improved, these DB's should be fighting to get on the field and make plays.
