Hanging Out With Murray

Got a chance to hang out with Aaron Murray today. The Bulldog QB is a busy man these days. Lot of demands. I got 5 minutes for an interview, then he squeezed in some lunch, before taking on the rest of the media. That's where we got to kick it around some.
   Here's what I learned today.
Marlon Brown has had the best camp of any receiver. Seriously. Aaron believes Marlon is ready to break out. Wooten has been dependable. Freshman Malcolm Mitchell has impressed with his ability to go up-and-over DBs and make big catches. Add that to Orson and TK and this group sounds strong.
Murray also believes in Isaiah Crowell. Loves the way he catches the ball. Bet he gets it 15-20 times against Boise. Minimum.
He feels good about the O-Line. Those 5 starters made it through camp without breaking down. Reason to be encouraged there.
As far as the gameplan goes, Aaron prepared a list of plays he felt good about, which he reviewed with Coach Bobo. He's excited about the plan.
Boise State's defense plays aggressively, but out of a base scheme. Not many tricks, or blitz packages... just a bunch of guys winning battles. Murray is ready to play ball. And by the way, he's loving it.
