Spurrier Talks About Lattimore

A year ago, the Gameocks planned to pound Marcus Lattimore at the 'Dogs defense. And it worked like a charm. He got it 10 times in the opening series (TD drive) and finished with 37 carries/182 yards/2TDs.
Coach Spurrier talked yesterday about his plan for Lattimore this Saturday. He told the media in Columbia that if Marcus is getting 5-6 yards per carry on Saturday, he'll get it another 30-plus times. Steve also said he expects Grantham to "stack the box" and sell out against the run game. And if that happens, he stated that they needed to throw it better and protect better.
Lattimore loves the "inside zone read" running play because he can take it anywhere. Georgia's defense has a big challenge this week. This dude is the best player in the SEC. He breaks tackles and gets yards after contact. He's strong and fit. Better than last season.
The SC O-Line looks better too.
Aaron Murray and the 'Dogs offense need a fast start. Have success early. Hit some big plays. Because if this game falls into the close, grind-it-out style...advantage South Carolina. Lattimore would probably take over, a lot like last season.
