Empty Backfield Against New Mexico State?

Richard Samuel had ankle surgery yesterday. And you may have heard, 3 other RBs were suspended for the New Mexico State game Saturday, for a violation of team policy. So, the running back position has been cleaned out this week.
Who will play this Saturday? More on that in a moment.
The critics are in a frenzy over the timing of the announcement AND the suspension. Richt didn't mention one word about the suspensions during his press conference. The release came down between 2:30-3:00, which was a couple of hours after the pressor ended. Did he hold out on the media?
Also, did his evil plan include playing Isaiah Crowell against Florida and using the 1-game suspension on little ole' New Mexico State? Greg McGarity denies that accusation. Georgia policy is to suspend the player for the next competition. Players are subject to random drug tests these days.
HERE IS THE SITUATION, AS I KNOW IT...The pee test was last Thursday. The results came back yesterday afternoon, which is typical (5-7 days). There was no conspiracy.
But some critics believe that Crowell's results were known prior to kick-off against the Gators and Richt played him anyway, because he was desperate to win. Then, Mark conspired to keep the media out of the loop, until press conference day was over. Obviously, that would be totally out of character. The guys going with this simply appear foolish.
Back to this Saturday...Brandon Harton is the next man up. Harton made a name for himself as a walk-on, who hit some big plays against the #1 defense, while playing on the scout team. Brandon is from Reidsville and played at Tattnall County HS. He's undersized (5'6", 174) but is elusive.
Walk-on Kyle Karempelis, from Wesleyan, gets a look this week. He's also undersized at 5'9, 170.
Tough luck for Wesley Van Dyk, who is from the Dallas, Texas area and played at Stafford's HS (Highland Park). He's currently injured. He and his sister won the 2011 UGA's Next Top Entrepreneur Award, for their company RushEase, an online database company set up to help sororities eliminate paperwork, during rush.
Bet you'll see Coach Bobo use FB 'Zander Ogletree to pound the rock some. And expect to see a large dose of empty-backfield, shotgun sets.
