Opportunity Big For Georgia
Thinking Georgia might look past Kentucky this Saturday? Not a chance. Got to beat the 'Cats, if you want a shot at the SEC Championship. I get the feeling that this team wants that opportunity.
Coach Richt spoke about this, in his weekly press conference.
"I'm encouraged that we've got the right stuff," speaking about his team's chances of getting a shot at the title. "They realize what's at stake."
A shot at #1 LSU. Or a title showdown against Alabama. An opportunity to compete for the SEC Championship and the honor of representing CF's top conference, in the Sugar Bowl. That's a lot to play for. The guess here is that Kentucky is in trouble Saturday.
Bobo's Offense is peaking at the right time. The O-Line has held up just fine. There are legit weapons all around Murray. And Aaron is playing at a high level. We are balanced with big-play ability. Crowell needs 179 yards for 1,000. And we are still waiting to see him bust one. Wouldn't be surprised to see him hit a couple long ones Saturday and have a big day.
Grantham's Defense is a force right now. Have you examined the SEC only stats? 'Dogs are allowing 19.3 points (#4 SEC), only giving up 2.7 yards per rushing attempt (#2 SEC), we're 1st in sacks (25) and are #2 on 3rd Down (26.1%). Plus, we've forced 23 turnovers.
Kentucky starts a freshman QB. He's meat.
Jarvis Jones is having an All-American season. Leads the SEC in sacks (10) and TFL (16). Solid.
