Buck you are so full of crap, your eyes are brown. I heard you on the radio the other night after Hudson's golf tournament, and when you came back from the break your wife Kincaide asked what you had told Rocker about UGA and the defense, and you said that it was going to take Grantham and UGA 2-3 years to get his players in place before they were worth a damn (my word). That was not to long after you said that Grantham was saying all of the right things and having the Bulldawg Nation believing in him.

Make up your mind hollywood, is he or isn't he going to get it done...and we don't need 2-3 years. If we have the athlete's and coaching, then we can play anyway!

Good stuff. I think I remember Rex always saying he never got to see this memorable play because he was busy preparing for his own Georgia Glory. With your reset here, at least he coulda been a witness. And Munson still woulda had his cigar.

I think you're right Buck. I've ruminated on that before through the years ("what if" THE play didn't occur?). While it would have definitely taken some wonderment, some luster off of that season of glory, like you I still think the 'Dogs would have remained in the hunt for the NC.

By the way--big of you to concede that point. I'm still glad things happened the way they did...

Buck, one of the reasons I love reading, listening, or watching you is the fact that you--like me--are 100% Bulldawg! I have loved that about you since I watched you play for UGA as a kid.

I wish that Damon Evans had been honest with folks. Surely, he had to know about what was on the police report. I believe what he said at that press conference and its subsequent lack of credibility made it impossible for UGA to keep him.

I do wish him well, as I, too, liked him and thought him an excellent "face" of UGA athletics. He did perform his job with class and competency. Too bad he had personal demons that ruined what should have been his dream job.

I pray for his family and for him. I also pray that UGA finds the best loyal UGA graduate possible to fill this important position.

As for you, my young friend, I pray you find a way to be more of a voice for UGA. I am disappointed that Comcast is doing the SEC games on the cheap. Your viewpoint, expertise, and Southern drawl enhance my viewing pleasure. My husband and I both appreciate and value you :)

Wish I could agree, but if Bobo is so great why aren't other schools calling for his services? Muschamp & Smart are in high demand and command big paychecks. If CMR cut Bobo loose with Martinez, Jancek & Fabris, would he even be employed now? I'll agree Bobo may be a good recruiter, but his coaching and playcalling leave much to be desired. If Bobo was as good as you say, he'd have plenty of callers - all I hear are crickets chirping.

Buck- I always enjoy and appreciate your insight! Go be with your family bro...I do hope that you continue the excellent blog and maybe can sit in on 3 or 4 games a year with Matt Stewart and radio as well. Nobody can match your knowledge and love for the Dawgs!
